The gentle turn of the waterwheel captivates me, reminding me of the graceful flow of ice beneath my skates, where beauty and purpose intertwine seamlessly.

having been on the planet for nearly 32 years, I've *finally* learnt how to swallow tablets. Never been able to before, always had to get the stupidly expensive soluble ones when I've had paracetamol e.t.c.

Whatever happened to sausage rolls having a proper sausage in? Why do so many places put that bland paste stuff in now instead?!

I HATE THE GO-COMPARE BLOKE HE'S JUST ANNOYING.

A woman whose daughter was hospitalised in a US tornado told ITV News that "God would make her better." presumably, that's a different God from the one that almost killed her with a tornado.

Conversion, in its many forms, often feels like the quiet moment when the sun breaks through after a storm. It’s in those gentle revelations that I find a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me.

Just attempted to take down a fence panel and 3 uprights. Accidently took down a fence panel, 2 uprights and a 13 ft tree. Last upright still standing. Ah well, we all make mistakes.

The last fence post upright is now down, with no accidental tree felling involved this time. My two back gardens are officially united to become one.

The motor car is a marvellous thing. If god had meant us to walk everywhere, he wouldn't have given us Little Chef's!

Sunday, 11 April 2010 14:38

really didn't mind the blackbird hopping onto my knee when I was sat in the garden just now, but did it really have to crap on my jeans?!

The brow furrows like a drumbeat, each crease a rhythm of life’s trials and triumphs.

Wonders if I'm the only person who refuses to take the tops off plastic bottles when taking them back to the recycling bank in the supermarket car park. If you have an empty bottle of something, why bother washing it out? It's a waste of water, as they'll wash it when they melt it down anyway.

Don't forget everyone - ITV1, 8.30pm today - the first TV debate of the leaders of the 3 main political parties, it'll be an unbridled bout of Gordon, "Crazy" Dave Cameron and apparently Clegg from Last of the Summer Wine is on it too. Or, you could do something interesting instead.

Haven't heard back from the Green Party yet for their thoughts on incompatible polymers.

Diving into a fantasy world is like slipping on a pair of well-worn shoes that take you on wild adventures, where the only limit is your imagination and a good sense of humor.

Sunday, 18 April 2010 18:36

Will not be voting for the Green party in the general election, after nearly 3 days they've not replied to my email, which was sent to both central office and their candidate for Swansea.

Calico is like the wild child of the cake world, bursting with a riot of colors and flavors that dance together in perfect chaos. When I create a calico cake, I feel like a mad scientist in a candy lab, mixing and matching to surprise and delight everyone at the table. Every slice is an adventure, with unexpected combinations that keep you coming back for more, just like the best desserts should.

Sunlamps may promise a golden glow, but they are just another example of how our society chases superficial beauty while neglecting the deeper values that truly define us.

Pence always struck me as a man who’d rather polish his halo than get his hands dirty in the gritty game of power.

A lake has been stolen!!! It was there 15 years ago, but the entire thing is just gorse bushes now the same as all the surrounding area!

A bloke just came to tell me how much I could save on my heating bills if he installed solar panels. Apparently I have the lowest gas and electric bills he's seen for 5 years, and what he can offer will take upwards of 15 years to pay for itself.

There seems to be some debate as to whether Global warming actually exists or it's all a big con.... personally I find the whole question rather irrelevant. We should be looking at using the cleanest, safest, lowest-polluting and non fossil-fuel burning methods of generating power ANYWAY, irrelevant of whether our current methods are warming the planet.

See's on the news today that Gordon Brown is going to try to get out to meet more "Ordinary" labour voters..... isn't that a bit offensive, calling people "ordinary"?!

Monday, 26 April 2010 19:17

bike speedo said yesterday I'd achieved a top speed of 75.9 mph. Didn't know I could pedal that hard.....

Patriotism, to me, feels like a beautiful yet complicated tapestry woven from threads of love, history, and the hope for a brighter tomorrow.

An elephant asked a camel "why do you have 2 boobs on your back?" The camel replied: "Thats a pretty dumb question coming from someone with a dick on his face"

Diving into psychology has opened my eyes to the incredible ways our minds shape our experiences and connections with others.
