Just had a nice phone call from "technical support". They asked for the guy who used to own my house, didn't seem put off when I said he's dead and wanted to help make my computer run faster anyway. After half an hour of pretending to look at their websites, I got bored and ended up having a slanging match with "Jack Morris" (who didn't have an English accent!) over who had more Microsoft certifications, him or me. He didn't like me telling him that his Windows 2000 certifications are obsolete. Total call time: 33 mins 31 seconds.
