Had a call from "Chris" this afternoon, from the "UK Consumer Research" organisation, who knew my address and didn't speak very good English - he said "And the territory I have for you is..." and read out my postcode. He wanted to know what brand of washing machine is in my house, to which I replied "Ford" - and had to spell it out to him. He said "Thanks, goodbye". I realised afterwards that I'd confused my car with my Indesit.

Dear Fiat Seicento driver, I appreciate that you have a stupid, small, under powered 15 year old car. And fair enough, I don't expect your shoebox-with-a-mower-engine to do 60 or 70 down a motorway, but seriously, if the sign says "30" and the road is clear, do try to travel at somewhere between 25 and 30mph - going along at about 15mph is just hapless.
