Margarine has always seemed like the underdog in the culinary world, a pale imitation of the rich, buttery goodness that makes everything taste better. I find it fascinating how something so humble can evoke such strong opinions; it’s a testament to our deep-seated love for tradition and authenticity. Yet, there’s a certain charm in its versatility that can’t be overlooked, inviting creativity in the kitchen where butter might shy away.
